Goals and Learning Objectives/Outcomes

The purpose of the National Conference for Nurse Practitioners is to offer interactive presentations, discussions that promote clinical excellence and improve the quality of care that healthcare practitioners provide. By attending this virtual conference and participating in the educational sessions, you’ll be better able to:

  •       - consult with experts in primary and acute care as well as clinical subspecialties
  •       - discuss issues related to family, adult, pediatric, geriatric, women’s health, legal, mental health, and acute
  •         care practice specialties
  •       - evaluate current and new treatment methods and pharmacologic therapies
  •       - identify issues that affect advanced practice, including reimbursement, malpractice, clinical practice
  •         guidelines, and using the latest technologies in the industry
  •       - increase advanced practice clinicians’ skill set in order to provide expanded services and improve billing
  •         and reimbursement.
  • Live Virtual NCNP Accreditation Statement:
    Lippincott® Professional Development will award up to 19 contact hours and 18 maximum Rx credits for attendance of this nursing professional development activity.

    Lippincott Professional Development is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

    Lippincott Professional Development is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the District of Columbia, Georgia, and Florida boards of nursing (CE Broker #50-1223).

    This activity is also provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP 11749.


    Archived NCNP Accreditation Statement:
    Lippincott® Professional Development will award up to 56 contact hours and 36 Rx credits for participating in archived sessions within 90 days of the virtual event.

    Lippincott Professional Development is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

    Lippincott Professional Development is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the District of Columbia, Georgia, and Florida boards of nursing (CE Broker #50-1223).

    Physician Assistants:
    This program is not yet approved for CME credit. Conference organizers plan to request up to 19 live hours and up to 56 hours total for AAPA Category 1 CME credits from the AAPA Review Panel. The total number of approved credits is yet to be determined.

    Pharmacists:
    This program is approved for up to 18 live hours and up to 36 hours total for CE credits for the pharmacists. Total number of credits is yet to be determined.

    In order to earn CE credit for this event: Participants must (1) register, (2) attend the entire live/web event (3) complete the post event test evaluation. Participants are responsible for making sure their profile is complete with their NABP# and DOB (month and year only). Information regarding the number of credits earned will be submitted to the NABP within 2 weeks of the conference.

    International Attendees:
    Credits provided via American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) are internationally accepted and can be submitted to your respective country’s accrediting body for approval.

    Completion of session evaluations will need to be made by Friday, January 29, 2021 in order to obtain your continuing education credit hours and certificate. Wolters Kluwer/National Conference for Nurse Practitioners will not be held responsible for any requests made after that date.
